OUR STORY
Our story starts with the name Joker & Witch.
It all started when our founders Satish Singh and Maya Varma met each other, fell in love and jokingly started calling themselves Joker & Witch, based on their individual alter egos. A happy go lucky restless soul from a small town in India, Satish always dreamt of owning his own watch brand one day. Maya,the quieter and calmer one with a "do not mess with me" attitude and an accessory designer by profession, always knew Jewellery was her forte. When Joker & Witch finally met, their passion for Watches & Jewellery also came together and there was no looking back. They quit their jobs, got married and set off on their dream entrepreneurial journey. The team was complete and Joker & Witch was born!
OUR JOURNEY
Joker & Witch started in 2015 from our founder's home where the husband wife duo spent late nights packing and processing hundreds of orders by themselves. As newly weds, they quit their comfortable 9-5 work life and ventured on a path of uncertainty, struggles and challenges to pursue their passion and to create something that they always dreamt of. Being first generation entrepreneurs from humble backgrounds, they started the business with a capital of 2 lakhs and their journey was definitely not an easy one. The initial years saw many ups & downs and they learnt from each mistake they made. Their passion for their work and belief in each other kept them going through the tough times and pushed them to appreciate the good times.
In March 2016, Joker & Witch launched it's own website and since then has been evolving every single day.
We like to believe that our journey has only begun and have a long way ahead!

Driven by a team of young and ambitious individuals, we've become one of the fastest growing Watch & Jewellery brands in the country. What started with just two people working out of their home, we are today a team of 30+ dedicated go-getters working out of our Bangalore Headquarters to make our vision into a reality. Our team is incomplete without our two furry friends Hachi & Tiger who ensure everyone is the office is entertained, stress free and constantly feeding them.
SATISH SINGH aka JOKER
A marketing major from MICA, Ahmedabad, Satish always felt passionate about Fashion & Retail. A happy go lucky restless soul from a small town in India, Satish always dreamt of owning his own watch brand one day. Once an ardent shopper himself and a watch lover he always found it difficult to find well designed, beautiful watches with an International appeal at an affordable budget. Watches to him, was much more than just time keeping machines, but something that defined his style & attitude. After years of working in the ecommerce space, Satish decided to follow his heart and start his dream project. He found his cofounder in his wife Maya, and embarked on a journey to create a kickass Watch Brand that would provide its customers exceptionally designed, aesthetic products at a price that wouldn't break their banks.
MAYA VARMA aka WITCH
An accessory designer from NIFT, New Delhi, with years of experience across Design & Retail, Maya decided to take the plunge into the world of entrepreneurship after she met Satish. Her obsession with jewellery began when as a kid she would make jewellery out of broken beads, stones and discarded cardboard.
Jewellery to her has never been just a piece of adornment but rather became an important form of self-expression. She believes, every day, every mood deserves a jewellery of its own. Staying ahead of time in terms of designs and presenting them to customers in a relatable manner is what she enjoys the most. A keen observer and a creative thinker, she likes to believe that she is the heart behind the brand and Satish, the brain.

As a rule every newcomer in the office has to make chai for the entire team atleast once.
We Love DOGS!
Our team members Hachi & Tiger are at the heart of our organization. We have fostered and gotten atleast 12 puppies/dogs adopted till date. Our office doors are always open to all furry friends

We celebrate our Bday on 1st April every year just because we find the day amusing! :)

Within a team of 30+ people, we have people from across 12 different Indian States as part of our team.
We work hard and party harder
